Now the Cavaliers really took care of business with the Raptors last night and lead the season 3-2.
The OKC Thunder hope to close out the series out west in Oakland. I think the Warriors will be like Antaeus and regain strength on the home court and force a sixth game, but hey, I have been wrong before.

NHL Shout Out

Many happy returns to the long-suffering San Jose Sharks on their first ever Stanley Cup appearance. Congratulations. Will they face the Tampa Bay Lightning or the Pittsburgh Penguins? Tune in tonight to find out.

A Terrific Tuesday!!

It is a great day for the Lady. More about that in another post. Let's get down to sports, shall we? I was completely flabbergasted to discover that the Raptors have made it a series after defeating Cleveland 105-99 last night. Who knew they had that much fight in them?

Golden State looks to avenge its embarrassing blowout at the hands of the Thunder tonight. The series gets evened out again.

Now to wrap up my "marvelous Monday" predictions! Not bad with a 0.750 batting average.

  10. Kansas City at Minnesota - miracles do not happen for the Twins.
  11. Baltimore at Houston
  12. San Diego at San Francisco
  13. Oakland at Seattle
  14. Cincinnati at LA Dodgers - Even without Kershaw on the bump, the Reds have no chance.
The Tampa Bay-Miami game surprised me with its early time. You know Tampa Bay won 4-3. I hope to see and hear @45PedroMartinez tonight on MLB Tonight. #MLBTonight

  8. Cleveland at ChiSox (Game two) - Cleveland

  10. Oakland at Seattle - Seattle
  11. Cincinnati at LA Dodgers - Cincinnati because the Dodgers will be worn to a frazzle following the marathon game on Sunday.
  12. San Diego at San Francisco - San Francisco only because the Padres will be tired after that LONG game that finally ended just before Doomsday.

NBA - Knock me over with a feather. I am speechless. OKC blew up Golden State. Cleveland had better watch themselves. Cavs win tonight.

I fully expected the Raptors to get blown out by the Cavs. Tomorrow promises more of the same. They do not have a way to deal effectively with James, Love, and company.

Golden State will prevail tonight after the unexpected dropping of a game on Monday evening. Wow. I was impressed by the Thunder's efforts. Just a guess, though.

I guess it was time for a new kid in town. Sigh. The last team to be decided will be after the end of the Toronto and Miami games tomorrow evening. I hope for a Miami miracle, but I believe Toronto will try their level best to give Cleveland a hard time in the Eastern conference finals. Game on.
