It is Thanksgiving Day, and my mama's heart is happy to have my son home to celebrate with us. We'll head over to a family friend's to enjoy the day's fellowship, food, and fun. May today be a day that you remember with gratitude the gifts you've been given.

Mama's Tired

We had our annual "Meet the Teacher" night at school. I am bone weary after a long day. At least I get the opportunity to have review day with my kids working in pairs.

Bad News and Good News

The bad news: Monday was c-r-a-z-y! Our tile repairman was still at work when I got home from school, so I kept on working using my little Chromebook. Goodbye, Miss Reveille, Ma'am

It is my sad duty to announce that Reveille VIII, our Texas A&M mascot from 2008-2015 passed away yesterday. RIP Miss Reveille, Ma'am. She will be buried with military honors and placed so that she can see the scoreboard at Kyle Field. Reveille IX will continue on with our Aggies.

A Day to Remember

Fifteen years ago, I was a stay at home mama who had arisen at the normal time and eaten breakfast with her husband and son. I had no idea that my entire world would change because of the vicious attacks rained down on my country by evil people I would never understand. I will never understand terrorist attacks. Never.
