Dear Readers,
I did not get up in time to write my post for the day, so lots of sports passed me by. C'est la guerre. France won its second World Cup while I sat in the late morning worship service at my church. My husband, son, and I enjoyed lunch out together as a family while MLB games started. I picked up a novel I started yesterday, and I couldn't put it down except to grab a nap or two. I'll pick up again tomorrow with the Home Run Derby I love watching so much, and we'll get back to baseball when play resumes in earnest on Friday.
