First Things First

I must begin with a disclaimer.  I do not claim to be a sports writer and have only played organized sports in a recreational manner.  I joined athletics in high school during my freshman year to escape a bully in my P.E. class during the second semester and was on the bench as a second-team basketball player.  If you want a professional read, visit ESPN or SI or someone else of their standing.  I teach middle school language arts, and I LOVE watching professional football, baseball, basketball, and occasionally soccer. This page is meant to be a place where I can share my rantings and ravings about sports, players, teams, game time decisions, etc.  Read on at your own "risk."
